25-year-old Emanuel Gage was charged with driving on suspended, resisting arrest, possession of methamphetamines and cocaine, drug paraphernalia, felony drug offense, possession of a firearm during a felony, and unlawful possession of a weapon. On October 18th, Metro Nashville Police officers observed Emanuel Gage standing next to a white Honda Accord on East Thompson Lane just before Wimpole Drive. Officers also observed a tan Sedan parked in front of the Honda that took off down Thompson Lane headed west when police activated their blue lights. When officers spoke with Gage, he stated he was the driver of the Honda. Later he changed his story, stating he was not the driver and was simply walking by. Officers noticed Gage had his hands inside of his jacket pocket with a large imprint that appeared to be a gun. Officers demanded Gage remove his hand from his pocket, but he refused. Metropolitan Nashville Police Department CID Captain Jason Reinbold after a small child says "stop saying cuss words The video shows Metro Nashville Police Department Captain Jason Reinbold berating a woman and her family who apparently stopped for a water-and-snack break on the bike path behind his Brentwood home. He appears angry that they've been sitting on the path near his backyard for some time. He invokes "social distancing" even as he walks closer to them, motioning for them to move along. At one point during the confrontation, his wife walks outside to retrieve the dog Reinbold is holding before returning inside. He continues, and even begins calling the woman "Karen" — an apparent reference to the name used by some people online to mock a particular sort of white woman.  A transcript of one brief part of the exchange: Reinbold : "This is the most bizarre thing that I've ever seen."
